About Henderson
Henderson sits southeast of the Las Vegas Strip. It is home to master-planned communities, guard-gated golf neighborhoods, hillside estates, and a resort community built around a lake.
Below, I've grouped the communities by area. Price ranges are typical and change often, so ask me what is selling right now.
Green Valley
Green Valley is Henderson's original master-planned community, started in 1978, and the first one in the Las Vegas valley. These neighborhoods are all part of it.
- Green Valley: The full original master plan in central Henderson, covering about 8,400 acres and several neighborhoods, including Green Valley Ranch, Whitney Ranch, and The Fountains.
- Green Valley Ranch: Central Henderson, close to The District shopping and dining area and the Green Valley Ranch Resort. Homes range from $500k to $2M.
- Whitney Ranch: A central Henderson neighborhood near the Galleria at Sunset and the city's Whitney Ranch Recreation Center. Homes range from $400k to $800k.
- The Fountains: A guard-gated enclave of custom and semi-custom homes on larger lots. Homes range from $800k to $3M.
Anthem
- Anthem: Henderson's largest master-planned community, in the McCullough Range foothills. Del Webb began building it in 1998, and it includes several different neighborhoods. Homes range from $500k to $8M.
- Sun City Anthem: An age-restricted (55+) community with recreation centers and golf. Homes range from $400k to $800k.
- Anthem Country Club: A guard-gated, all-ages community built around a Hale Irwin signature golf course. Homes range from $1.2M to $8M.
Hillside and Golf Communities
- MacDonald Ranch: A large foothills plan with several neighborhoods, including guard-gated areas and a 55+ community. Homes range from $500k to $1.5M.
- MacDonald Highlands: The guard-gated part of MacDonald Ranch, home to DragonRidge Country Club and wide valley views. Homes range from $1.3M to $17M.
- Seven Hills: A guard-gated hillside community built around a golf course, with a wide mix of home types. Homes range from $500k to $5M.
- Roma Hills: A guard-gated hillside community known for its Italian-inspired architecture. Homes range from $1M to $3M.
- Ascaya: A guard-gated community of 313 custom homesites with Strip views. Homes range from $3M to $25M.
Lake Las Vegas and the East Side
- Lake Las Vegas: A resort community around a 320-acre man-made lake, with golf, MonteLago Village, and gated neighborhoods. Homes range from $500k to $5M.
- Tuscany: A guard-gated golf community around Chimera Golf Club, just west of Lake Las Vegas. Homes range from $400k to $1.5M.
- Cadence: A newer 2,200-acre master-planned community in east Henderson, with a 50-acre central park and new homes. Homes range from $400k to $1.2M.
South Henderson
- Inspirada: A newer master-planned community with parks, trails, pools, and newer homes. Homes range from $450k to $1.4M.
